Micron has once again set the high bar for the industry by becoming the first company to begin volume production of the newest version of high bandwidth memory – HBM3E – which is needed to unlock the capabilities of next-generation GPUs for AI applications. Launching with Nvidia’s H200 in CQ2 2024 and then with other customers over the course of the next few quarters, this is the world’s highest-performing HBM3E. The power consumption profile of Micron's product is what truly sets it apart – Micron’s HBM3E consumes a jaw-dropping ~30% lower power than the next competitor – no competitor can match the performance and power capabilities of Micron’s product! Customers can leverage this to significantly reduce the power consumption in data centers, where power constraints are becoming increasingly important. So, if you are looking for a power-efficient solution for your data center, Micron’s HBM3E is the answer!
